Prophet Needed!
Beloved: We have all heard the call: “Is there a Doctor in the house?” No doubt this call would go forth ONLY if a Doctor is NEEDED. And if a Doctor is NEEDED, a LAWYER or any other professional will not do. I was wondering, in regard to CHURCH LIFE, should we not send out the call: "IS THERE A PROPHET IN THE CHURCH?" This call should go forth ONLY if a PROPHET is NEEDED. And if a PROPHET is NEEDED, PUPPETS in the PULPIT need not answer the call. Yes, the VOICE of the PROPHET is greatly needed in this DARK HOUR. His voice is not only needed, but must be HEEDED! Every prophet of the past was called upon to PREACH in a WILDERNESS of some kind. In fact, it could be said: A prophet is a WILDERNESS PREACHER. No less is REQUIRED of the TRUE prophet of our day. The path of the PRESENT DAY PROPHET will lead him into the wilderness of SEMINAR SAINT, CONCERT CHRISTIANS, WORKSHOP WORSHIP and MOVEMENT MENTALITY among the people of God. While God’s people might make much of the TRUTH OF GOD (the principles), the prophet of God makes much of the GOD OF TRUTH (the PERSON). The Prophet will remind us that this is THE REASON for so many RIGHT ANSWERS and YET so much WRONG LIVING in CHURCH LIFE today. He will be found standing AGAINST those who would USE God for GAIN instead of God USING them for His GLORY. He realizes that what some preachers call HOLY BUSINESS is in reality nothing more THAN wholly business. To the Prophet, The TIME is always SHORT. The NEED is always URGENT! He will be RESPECTED by some, RIDICULED by many and REWARDED by GOD. With his VOICE, he will call God’s People to HOLINESS that we might SEE THE LORD (“And holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord”--Hebrews 12:14) and EXPERIENCE TRUE REVIVAL. Thank YOU for your HELP. I love YOU dearly. Now a word from HIS WORD: “I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him”--Deuteronomy 18:18 (KJV). |
